The MODE Hot Line News was intended to serve as a means for disseminating synopses of data received by the Hot-Line Center during the first Mid-Ocean Dynamics Experiment (MODE-I), and to keep MODE participants informed about the observations. One copy of each newsletter is kept in the collection.
