Requests to Use Alvin, 1977-1994
Scope and Content Note
These requests were maintained by the Marine Operations Office and cover the years 1977-1994. The proposals were submitted to the UNOLS Review Committee, which reviewed the proposals and determined which should be approved. Alvin dives were then scheduled. Some requests contain drafts of proposals to the UNOLS Review Committee. For two years, 1979 and 1981, Alvin/Lulu Operations Summaries are included.
