Historical Information

The Controller's Office is responsible for the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution's accounting practices, the maintenance of its fiscal records, and the preparation of its financial reports. The Controller's Office includes these functional areas: general accounting, budgets and financial analysis, cash management, accounts receivable, regulatory compliance, payroll, property administration, gift accounting procedures, financial history, government regulations, and self-governance.
