This is an artificial collection; it is uncertain whether all the material in the collection actually came from Facilities, but it is the most likely place for this type of material.

Historical Information
The Facilities Department has the responsibility for WHOI's Physical Plant and Facilities. These functions include building services, skilled trade shops, distribution, and security. Located in the village of Woods Hole, Massachusetts, and on the nearby Quissett campus, WHOI’s shore-based facilities currently encompass 219 acres of land and waterfront and 58 buildings and laboratories.
