Scope and Content Note

From the Series:

The Sound Recordings series contains reel-to-reel, cassette tape, digital audio tape (DAT), and compact disc sound recordings of marine mammals created or collected by Watkins. Tape descriptions are taken from a database of the tapes, and include coded fields for description. See the collection Scope and Content note for a list of codes. Several tapes came with notes or correspondence; the material was foldered and is filed by recording number in box 4, and cross-references to the material are noted in the recording descriptions.
