Miscellaneous Recordings, 1955-2000
Scope and Content Note
The series contains reel-to-reel tapes, audio cassette tapes, VHS, Hi-8 video, DAT tapes, one phonograph record, one 3" 16mm film reel, and several 1/4" data cartridges mainly containing recordings of various animal sounds collected by William Watkins and others. Several tapes came with notes or correspondence; the material was foldered and is filed by recording number in box 4 and cross-references to the material are noted in the recording descriptions.
