This series contains files on patents, projects, BT reports, visitors, equipment and photographs. The file ‘Photographs; [Trustees?; Bomb at Bikini] 1947’ contains a photo of Iselin and Bigelow in an otherwise unidentified group, and 3 pictures of the bomb explosion at the Bikini atoll during Operation Crossroads, which WHOI monitored (box 12, f.57). A folder called ‘From Mr. Iselin’s desk, 1944’ contains correspondence and an edited manuscript on waves (box 19, f.1) Materials from two small series called ‘Printing’ and ‘Radios’ were added to this series. The printing material includes reprints orders and requests, and the radio materials consist of licensing requests, applications, and correspondence. There are also files variably called ‘Unfinished business’ or ‘C.O’D. Iselin-Unfinished business’ that can be found both in the Administrative and the Subject Files series between 1941 and 1949.
