Correspondence, 1992-1995, 1992-1995

This series spans the 1940’s to 1995 and consists of correspondence, manuscripts, talks, awards, and publications. The one folder of correspondence includes letters from Warren Wooster, John Swallow, Walter Munk, and Joseph Reid. Most of the series contains Stommel’s writings and work either used or considered for the 1995 publication of The Collected works of Henry Stommel.

The materials in this series were given to the Archives in 1996 by the Physical Oceanography Department.
