One oval wooden board, 17" x 9.25" x 0.5", surface is inlaid with wood of different shades and is glazed or lacquered with an unknown, clear and shiny finish. Paper affixed to back states: "Contours of the ocean depth by Henry Stommel, centered on the South Pole. Woods Hole, MA. Given to Alan Faller by H. Stommel"
