Overview

Consists of logbooks and loose log material from WHOI-owned and chartered ships from 1931-2010.

Arrangement

The collection is arranged by vessel. Logs are organized alphabetically by vessel name, then by cruise number or chronologically under each vessel. One series of logs relating to projects not attached to a specific cruise or vessel is located at the end of the series arranged by vessel. One series of photographs removed from folders for separate storage is located at the end of the collection.
