AUWE Photo Album, 1968

This series consists of an album of photos by the Admiralty Underwater Weapons Establishment (AUWE) of "Gloria," a British low-frequency sound source that was mounted on the stern of R/V Chain 82. There are also several photos of the Admiralty Cable Ship St. Margarets from a cruise which Stetson was a part of. The album was produced by T. Noel Reynolds of the AUWE as a Christmas present to Dr. J.B. Hersey of the WHOI Geology and Geophysics department. An index to the photographs is included in the last page of the album.
