Biographical Information

William Berggren, a micropaleontologist in the Geology and Geophysics Department, came to the WHOI in 1965, and became a senior scientist in 1971. He received his B.A. from Dickinson College in 1952, his M.Sc. from the Universiy of Houston in 1957, and his Ph.D. (1960) and D.Sc. (1962) from the University of Stockholm.
