Subjects, 1943-1958

 Series

Scope and Content Note

The Subjects series contains material relating to air-sea survival and search and rescue operations. The series contains articles, presentations, clippings, reports, and promotional material. The letter to Stephen Howard is of interest because of Pingree's description of his involvement with the Flight Safety Foundation. The first folder in the series is not related to air-sea survival, but contains drafts of two chapters of Pingree's book, High Watermarks in American Oceanography.
