General

Each of the four reels will receive a separate subnote.

The dates given on the reels match the dates in the Alvin dive log for dives 224 and 236, on which a manipulator arm and sample basket were lost and recovered.

Dive 224, deep can, small reel, weird smell (not vinegary)
