Scope and Content Note
Materials include press releases, notes, newsletters, talks by other people, statements, testimonies, drafts, correspondence, memoranda, and publications. The series contains letters written in memory of Henry Bigelow used for a special issue of Oceanus magazine (vol.14, no.2, 1969) (box 87, f.13). There is also a memorandum by Fye to the National Academy of Science, Committee on Oceanography (NASCO) in 1968 about the hierarchy of laboratories (box 87 f. 14).
