Alvin Operations: Master Files, 1961-1994

This series consists of copies of all correspondence written by the members of the Alvin Group. It includes letters and policy memoranda as well as day-to-day operational matters ( work orders, budget requests, personnel issues). It does not, however, include the correspondence of the other parties involved. Files also contain information about other submersibles including Seacliff and Turtle and other WHOI ships including Knorr and Oceanus .
