News clippings collection

 Collection
Identifier: MC-114

Scope and Content Note

The collection contains photocopies of newspaper and magazine articles related to WHOI, its personnel, activities and events. The photocopies were made to preserve older, acidic clippings, and the originals were discarded. Library volunteer Lewis Nassikas made the preservation copies of the articles, organized them chronologially, arranged them in folders by date, and entered the title and date of the article, as well as subject keywords, in a Microsoft Access database. The database was used to create this finding aid.
