From the Collection:

Most of the collection consists of oral histories from the Woods Hole Oral History Project, which includes interviews with scientists, administrators and staff of the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution, the Marine Biological Laboratory and the United States Geological Survey in Woods Hole. Also included in the collection are several other oral history projects that contain interviews with Woods Hole scientists, as well as recordings of meetings and colloquia relating to the history of oceanography and Woods Hole science institutions.

The oral histories are in a variety of formats, including audio recordings, video recordings and transcripts.
