Biographical / Historical
Roland Wigley was Chief of the Benthic Invertebrates Project at the U.S. Bureau of Commercial Fisheries Biological Laboratory in Woods Hole. He studied at Cornell University where he obtained his Ph.D. in Icthyology. He joined the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service as a fishery research biologist in 1953.
