Scope and Content Note
This series consists of ten folders dated from 1953-1975 containing clippings and documenting preparations for and details of visits made to WHOI by Emperor Hirohito (1975) and Crown Prince Akihito of Japan (1953), as well as Crown Prince Akihito’s visit aboard Atlantis II made when she made a port call in Tokyo in 1987.
